KIM CYSIQUE
GAME NARRATIVE DESIGN
Ever since I was a child, I've been very curious and have cultivated a wide range of interests. These range from ancient Egypt to the animal kingdom and psychology, from thrillers to drawing and photography, and from cooking to music, film and technology. Around the age of 6, I quick became interested in video games (Rayman, Halo) and them in how they work and their gigantic universes.
Today, I take the time to seek inspiration by playing all kinds of games (retro, current, AAA et indie) and much more, because as a creative person, I'm passionate about bringing to life the worlds I imagine. My rather calm temperament allows me to enjoy my free time to the full. I like to immerse myself in reading (with a reading pile that never goes down) et writing, get carried away by art or theater exhibitions, and escape on nature hikes. Photography and music with friends are ways for me to express my creativity.
As a junior game designer specializing in narrative design and storytelling, I have an unwavering passion for creating complex worlds and compelling narratives in thriller noir and fantasy-oriented video games. My academic background has enabled me to develop strong skills in building rich scenarios, deep characters and punchy dialogue, while ensuring that the narrative experience merges seamlessly with the gameplay. I'm constantly on the lookout for new ways to innovate in narrative design, and I'm ready to take on any creative challenge that comes my way.
